Varazze Italian Surf Capital
It is since 1983 that Varazze is universally recognised as one 3
best waver of the Mediterranean. In fact, the rocky seabed along
side the quay of the torrent Teiro provides, together with sea storms
and drops from the Southern part, excellent surfs. The right wave,
long and fast, arrives directly in front of the small quay, while the left wave,
shorter and very fast, offer a breathtaking run. Because of the easy access to the beach and to the facilities on land, especially during summer season, surfing can be practised easily and with much pleasure.

In addition, the high technical level enables beginners to observe and learn the basic manoeuvres waiting for the establishment of a special school expeced for the summer of 1998.

The Varazze Surf Club, helped by the Liguria surfing Division, supplies all the necessary information related to surfing in the particular conditions of Varazze.
